MBDA will present at Euronaval 2024 an evolving portfolio of sovereign defence solutions that provide a full range of decisive capabilities to ensure maritime superiority.
With this contract, Italian Air Force will be equipped with SAMP/T NG ground-to-air defence capabilities, fitted with the Kronos Grand Mobile High Power radar from Leonardo.
The Italian Air Force will operate MAADS, replacing the SPADA system as their Short Range Air Defence (SHORAD) capability, and acquiring new capacity at medium range.
