FIVES GIDDINGS & LEWIS TO EQUIP FRCE (USA) IN THE DEFENSE INDUSTRY

In early January, Fives Giddings & Lewis received a new machine order from Hartech Group (US Government contractor serving as Fives' full “Turn-Key” representative) to equip Fleet Readiness Center East (Cherry Point, NC) with a T-Bed machine.

FRCE Cherry Point is North Carolina's largest maintenance, repair, overhaul and technical services provider with more than 4,000 military, civilian and contract workers.

This MCP155 T-Bed machine will feature a Tilt/Rotary Table with 1600 mm (62.99 in) pallets, a 2-Speed, 155 (6.1 in) mm headstock and a 40-position tool changer. It is planned to be installed at the FRCE Cherry Point plant in the beginning of 2024.
