As part of EURO2MOON, Yokogawa will design and develop technologies and services for the lunar industrial ecosystem.

YOKOGAWA JOINS EUROPEAN INITIATIVE DEDICATED TO SUSTAINABLE LUNAR AND SPACE EXPLORATION

Yokogawa Europe B.V. has become an official member of EURO2MOON, an industry-led association focused on topics related to the exploration of the lunar surface and the commercial and sustainable utilization of its resources.

The membership is a key initiative for Yokogawa as it looks to expand its space-related activities in Europe. Yokogawa will draw on its track record of over 100 years in measurement, control, and information technologies as well as its experience in providing various products to the space industry.

As part of EURO2MOON, Yokogawa will design and develop technologies and services for the lunar industrial ecosystem, including automation solutions and bespoke products to enable the effective use of resources.

EURO2MOON and Yokogawa are in perfect harmony as they both function under the umbrella of co-innovation. The different member organizations and companies Air Liquide Advanced Technologies, Airbus Defence & Space, ANRT, Arthur D Little, CEA, ESRIC, ispace, OHB, OffWorld, and Spartan Space collaborate towards a united vision of space resources utilization, to serve the purpose of space transportation, energy production, and life support in space, for space.

The technology and services envisioned by EURO2MOON members, such as clean energy-based hydrogen and oxygen production processes, and the use of reusable

and recyclable products for in-situ resource utilization (ISRU), will contribute to a circular economy and the sustainable development goals (SDGs) on Earth.

About EURO2MOON
Bringing in complementary expertise from public and private partners, EURO2MOON will focus on topics related to the exploration of the lunar surface and the utilization of its resources in a commercial and sustainable way.

The objective is to create a platform of exchange in order to build a common vision and promote it among the European industrial and institutional ecosystems, including recommendations on global roadmaps, demonstration concepts and commercial programs. Topics to be addressed will include long-duration transport, life support, energy needs for scientific and commercial applications.
